It’s simple. Tier three is a light wound that can be patched up easily with some cut up tea towels, Tier two is when you’ve lost some blood and you have to rely on UJ to make you less hurty, and Tier one is when you need Blu to appear in a schoolgirl outfit and give you everything in his backpack.

I know a few of my comrades don’t like it, but it’s a hellish fun ww2 RTS.

I have SD 2 and SD: Normandy 44.

The fun potential here for coop is huge, and where the heart of it lies, and I’m missing out on it, as none of my friends have either.

If I’ve missed anyone who does, or it’s in yer wish list, get it going on.

It’s probably the most serious and well balanced war game RTS I’ve played in over 30 years of PC gaming.

This guy is a boss. (Good friends with Joe Robinet Filth )

Canadian. Built a wood cabin himself, and various outbuildings. Living the dream.

Whole story is great but this is the latest. Man that food.

    Any of you this old?

Hell yeh. In fact you didn’t even have to call. Just ring and shout “READY” before the pips started, and dad* would come and get you from a pre-arranged pick up point.

    We weren’t MADE of money.

    * Moms (or MUMS as they’re called in normal countries), were rarely designated drivers in those days. Too many buttons for their pretty little heads to operate. Too emotional in traffic jams. Not that there WERE many traffic jams, as the roads were bigger, the cars were smaller, and the summers lasted all year.

    Shawaddywaddy.....fuckin ell. 😣

As you may have noticed, there has been a reorganisation within the NCO corps.

It was decided upon unanimously and in a spirit of positivity, to freshen things up and to reflect the ranks that members require to take on specific tasks, such as Training, Leading and Organising.

Here are the changes made in full.

Staff Sgt. Pilgrim to 2nd Lieutenant

    Corporal Filthy to Sergeant

    Corporal Oksman to Sergeant

    Sergeant Chroma to Corporal

These changes in NO WAY reflect the capability of the NCO’s affected. We are all capable of taking on any leadership role. Rather, it is intended to reflect the areas that the NCO’s want to put most of their efforts.

Filthy and Oksman are keen to Squad lead and train, and have input in the organisational side of the clan. They now hold a rank that enables them to do all of that with more autonomy and confidence.

Chroma wants to lead Fireteams. His new Corporal rank will allow him to do that without feeling obliged to take on the extra sergeant roles such as training.

None of these changes preclude myself or any NCO from Squad or Team leading. They merely facilitate and encourage a more active and appropriate role for the two new Sergeants.

My new role as 2nd Lieutenant will see me take on a more platoon level, “elder statesman” position, administering our monthly get togethers and generally encouraging an esprit de Corps. It will also allow me to take Platoon command as and when we have the numbers, and enable me to act freely within the group, helping new recruits, and supporting our NCOs where necessary.

I hope you all start to see the benefits of these changes.

All the NCO’s feel refreshed by the changes, and hope that a more positive outlook and attitude will be felt throughout GOL.

    Onwards and upwards!

    Signed

2nd Lt. Pilgrim and all the brilliant NCO’s
