13?
Too young I’m afraid.Am aware. Was going to follow procedures recently discussed (invite to a trial session, ask to reapply when 16 after).
Unless you'd like to deny on grounds of age straight away, your call.
Procedure notwithstanding, unable to make contact anyway.

If you have the ability to send a message that'd be great, as I'm not getting a reaction on Steam. Luke

DLC has been a bit of a problem for us over the course of the year. I think particularly the introduction of another required DLC with the release of Contact caused quite a bit of frustration among some members. Personally I think it's outstanding DLC, with a fantastic, surprisingly engaging campaign. For us as a multiplayer group it's been a bit hit and miss though: Some of the kit is very good and useful, genuinely adding to the game. The map however, which was maybe my own personal core argument in pushing for this DLC, is terribly optimised and we're not likely to see much of it as we go forward.
Additionally, we've lost at least one recruit (possibly more) due to our DLC requirements. In terms of recruitment we certainly had a gap there (talking about DLC wasn't part of our recruitment process so far), which I'll try to address in the future.
I do agree with all of your arguments here falseprophet , even simply supporting the developer by buying DLC which you're not even going to play is something that makes sense to me. I think we do want to see more Arma, new Arma, in the future. Voting with your wallet in this case is well in order.
However, some of BI's DLC policy certainly deserves criticism. It does create frustration and reluctance among some players of Arma, and certainly rightly so. Something to be aware of.
Not getting my hopes up for Iron Curtain frankly, after the first iteration of the GM line of 20GB+ paid redundant mods. But that's a matter for a council session, I guess. Pilgrim As a group, going forward, this is a matter I believe we should continue to debate, discuss, revise as it develops.
Everything made by BI though - just get it, why don't you. From my experience, everything made by the original developer is well worth it both for the group as a whole as well as individual player experience.

Thanks Pilgrim for your hard work for the group. Not in spite, but because of your preference for different footwear, you are by far the best CO this group has ever had.

Merry Christmas, and happy holidays!
