Also a good game.

Yeah. It might work okay. No idea. But it looks like native multiplayer isn’t likely to happen:

The biggest problem I see is no native multiplayer. The developer is relying on third party video streaming tools to provide that, like Steam Remote Play. Input lag in any fighting game is a big concern.
But there’s a demo so there’s no harm in trying it out.

Tanks DLC: £2.54. https://store.steampowered.com/app/798390/Arma_3_Tanks/

Steam’s pander to the Chinese sale has started. Store is bricked as usual. XD

Command & Conquer Remastered on sale for £9. Multiplayer works. No silly EA Origin account required if you buy it on Steam.

Interesting might wanna give it a shot, only got a pretty simple hotas stick though Thrustmaster Hotas, not sure if it qualifies. And no track IR sadly
I’ve tested out XBox and Steam controllers. Not ideal but you can make most controllers work (even a mouse and keyboard).
A lot of people fly without TrackIR. I have no experience with that but I’m guessing they bind views to one of the joystick hats or use the keyboard.

Free to Play event starting soon along with a sale on most modules. Good way to try out aircraft to see what you like before buying anything. If anyone needs any help or advice give me a kick. The F2P and sale will begin first for Standalone and then on the 11th on Steam to coincide with their Lunar New Year sale.
Most of the community use the Open Beta version of the game so make sure you download that version from the website or opt into the Open Beta branch with the Steam version.
Some of the aircraft are multicrew, including trainer jets such as the C-101, L-39 (similar to one of the planes in Arma), and the Tomcat. In particular the UH-1H Huey is a 4-seat battle-bus now with gimballed miniguns controlled by the co-pilot and two door guns (either M60s or miniguns).

Should be the theme tune for Banshee/Phantom. Once you “got that feeling” there’s no going back.
