How about it?
Edit: Maybe the yellow is too much. I'll experiment with some softer colors. But then again, it'll make the patch very clearly outlined in game.

I like it, the name looks better over the top as theres no clashing colours in the background. Maybe make the arma logo a tad less opaque, also on mobi the “since 2003” bit is hard to read not sure if its the font or the opacity.
Ill give it a go with different colours also but agree with you on some of these
I love the last one. The only thing i can think of now is that the text floating over/beside the patch will look weird on the in game camo. I'll try to adapt mine to your standard.
We can do a plain one for the in game also i think itll look pretty crisp without a border thinking about vehicles and stuff where itll really be noticable
Made some colour variations and opinions on having squad insignia's in the quadrants? if not what are opinions on colour mainly.
Personally think less is more and just the blank shield with a chain is pretty good
Edit: These are a separate file to the logo with the clan name and such. But its literally a case of turning off and on different layers so if you want to see how stuff looks from any of the previous designs just pick and mix with stuff like insignias, colours, the gradient on each end of chain and so on and i can do it super easy
Edit Edit: Ive uploaded a compressed file of everything i have so far so if you have Photoshop and want to do some tweaks, or just have a look through what ive compiled so far id like to see what you guys think.
These do look very well made.
I still prefer the plain red/blue without logos though.
I agree, i think it looks better just blank. The fade out on the chains is a great idea, especially on a border-less shield like yours.
As for the colors i think the second and third are the best ones. Tan is definitely a good color to stand for the ground troops.
For me personally blue is just automatically associated with either the navy or airforce, so i'd stick with that, but i guess it's up to air corps what color they'd like to represent them.
Had a go also a simple Sergeant chevron and taking Naphtalin s idea and making a base. Id like to add more to this but not sure what would add and not clutter
I like the bottom banner thing with Guerrillas of liberation on mixed with one of the nice looking shields
i like them all

I won’t be using it, so one of the other guys in AAC can pick.
Did some finalising on a design ive gathered from everyone ive spoke to is happy with so heres 10 versions of said design. Believe we need 1 for main logo and 1 for shoulder pad emblem.
Is anyone not happy with colour? Red, Black and Blue were pretty popular but are these shades too Pastelle or do we want darker shades?
I'm for #9 as a shoulder patch. I'm torn between #1 and #2 as the emblem. Looks great man.
I like your mum
Currently testing the patch and seeing if it looks ok on the soldier and if it's readable
Ok, the patch can only be applied to soldiers through insignias as far as I know, this however can only be applied through the description.ext or config.cpp file. The clan image doesn't show up on the uniforms for some reason and on vehicles it is visible but walk 10 - 20m away the the chain/entire logo is a pixely mess. Sorted out the dimensions though.
Sorry if I'm getting this wrong, it's not my specialty in any way, but I remember the shoulder patches and emblems on vehicles being linked to what used to be called the "Squad XML". These are based on player IDs and need to be managed for each individual player. Is this no longer the case?
Ah, didn't see that part, will look into that then.
Bump, this still a thing?
i hope so
