I highly recommend the youtube channel TIK Military History.
The guy does in depth analyses of WW2 battles. Very impartial. Always seeking to debunk myths and clichees. The research behind these videos and the detail in which they're presented is absolutely fantastic.

I recently found the channel World war 2, where they have a series where they go through the war week by week as it happened 80 years ago. It is made by the same people that went through every week of the first world war as well. They are only November of 1940 right now, so it is still around 4 years until they finish the series but they are pretty informative and try to present the content as if you were watching it in real time and try to avoid spoilers for future events. I very highly reccomend and they probably have the most detailed amount of the war in an easy to watch format.

Not sure if anyone's interested in medieval military sciences:
Ian LaSpina does detailed research on medieval combat armour using surviving pieces, art, reconstruction and experimentation.

Got to let your balls breathe in summer. Chainmail gets more airflow.

Have 18 minutes of boring doctrine in a terrible Austrian accent.

This guy explains the history and role of the Machine Gun in military. On his channel you will find a lot more really interesting firearm related videos, if you are interested in this kind of thing, absolutly worth watching

Was there a minimum hair length rule in the German Army of the 70’s?
Anything under four inches, and yer out, soldier...go and listen to Tangerine Dream, smoke kush, and come back to us in a month”

When fighting Rommel in Lybia in 41?
-
Yes I’ve herd the same. Cooking bacon and eggs on the cowelling.

One didn’t “fight” Rommel. One engaged in a patient game of bombing the shit out of him with artillery then walking slowly towards him, bayonets fixed.
